Time of essence

I learnt from Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong that you should start from the bottom and climb slowly and steadily till you reach the top and then unleash your creativity. Ever since I was young, I'd always wanted to define my future profession as a "millionaire". It was a self-assured, aspirational and, some would say, arrogant statement. I know that I sometimes say things that are insensitive and don’t always realise that I have hurt her. I understand the feeling of not being able to be there whenever she wants while I'm working, while others have the luxury of it. I am able to provide basic needs for now, for the sake of saving for a better future with my better half. Promises which I've said, aren't able to be done due to constraints, hopefully in time, permits, in the future when its not too late; which i'm expecting soon. I'm glad for now that she is counting on me to make this happen and become a reality.
