A Hoteliers life from me [summarized]

Some consider a hoteliers life to be a glamorous life but its actually a cursed job. A path usually not taken or favored by the majority if given the choice. It is always dark when you ride / drive to and from work. All the work you were hired to do gets done either before 9 and after 5. You forget what you look like in anything but a suit. Hospitality is part theater, part military. In other words, you’ve got to be an entertainer and, at the same time, run the show like an army general. You work 6 days a week with 1 day off. Communication is something your “group” is having problems with. What you say to people will be taken into thought or consideration by them first, as it is always sweet words and not the truth, it takes a lil bit of persuasion to convince them that its really the truth. You'd always wished that hoteliers had a normal working job time for all from 9am - 5pm, and Saturday is a half day.


And the best part of it, those who understand it are hoteliers. =/
